Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LocalOps, the business operations platform operated by PFS Technologies, LLC ("PFS", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, accepting an invitation to an organization workspace, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing or using LocalOps you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you use LocalOps on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers both to you personally and to that organization.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

2. The Service

LocalOps provides software tools for local and multi-location businesses, including lead and contact management, sales pipeline tracking, tasks and follow-up reminders, message templates, client platform administration, market and location configuration, and operational reporting.

We may add, modify, or retire features over time. We aim to keep the service available and dependable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Eligibility and Business Use

LocalOps is a business tool intended for use by organizations and their authorized personnel. It is not intended for personal, family, or household use, and it is not intended for use by children.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account or use the service.

4. Accounts and Organization Workspaces

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Credentials should not be shared between people.

Business data in LocalOps is held in an organization workspace. Organization owners and administrators control who may join a workspace and what role each member holds, and they can remove members. Members may access only the workspaces they have been granted access to, and only the data their role permits.

Notify us promptly if you believe your account or workspace has been accessed without authorization so we can help you secure it.

5. Subscriptions, Trials, and Billing

LocalOps is offered on a free plan and on paid plans. Paid plans are sold as monthly subscriptions only; annual or multi-year plans are not offered.

Subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your selected payment method until you cancel.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe and are confirmed by our payment provider at checkout.

New organizations may be offered a free trial period. When a trial ends without an active paid subscription, the workspace continues on the free plan limits described in the app. We do not delete your data merely because a trial has ended.

Plan limits, such as the number of users, leads, active opportunities, locations, markets, and message templates, are enforced by the platform. If a workspace is already above a limit, existing data is preserved, but creating additional records of that kind may be blocked until the workspace is within the limit or the plan is upgraded.

We may change plan contents, limits, and prices on a going-forward basis. We will give reasonable notice of a price change before it applies to your subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

6. Cancellation, Plan Changes, and Refunds

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time using the billing controls in the app. Cancellation stops future renewals, and access to paid features continues through the end of the period you have already paid for. After that period, the workspace continues on free plan limits and your data is preserved.

Upgrades take effect when payment is confirmed. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated at the time you make the change.

Charges already paid are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where we determine that a refund is appropriate. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us promptly and we will review it with you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you will not:

  • Use LocalOps to send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or unsolicited bulk communications, or in violation of applicable telemarketing, texting, or email law.
  • Attempt to access another organization’s workspace or data without authorization, or use the service to obtain data you are not entitled to see.
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service, or attempt to bypass its security or access controls.
  • Upload malicious code, or use the service to store or transmit unlawful content.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or attempt to derive the source code of the service, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to third parties except as expressly permitted by us in writing.
  • Use the service in a way that degrades it for other customers or places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.

8. Customer Data and Ownership

You retain ownership of the business records, customer information, and other content you enter into LocalOps ("Customer Data"). We claim no ownership of Customer Data.

You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, back up, and display Customer Data solely to operate, secure, and support the service for you and to comply with law.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and consents to store the information you upload, including information about your own customers, staff, and contacts, and for complying with the laws that apply to that information. Where you hold information about your customers, you are the business responsible for it and we process it on your instructions.

You can export your records from the app during an active subscription. If the service is discontinued, we will provide reasonable notice and a reasonable opportunity to export Customer Data.

9. Our Intellectual Property

The service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by PFS Technologies, LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service during your subscription, for your internal business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

No rights are granted to you except as expressly stated in these Terms. If you send us suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation.

10. Third-Party Services and Payment Processing

LocalOps relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing. Those providers process information on our instructions and are bound by their own terms and privacy practices.

Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider. Your use of payment features is also subject to that provider’s terms.

When you choose to connect a third-party service or platform of your own, you are responsible for your use of that service and for the data you choose to share with it.

11. Availability, Maintenance, and Support

We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits availability, generally during low-usage periods and with notice where practical.

Support is provided by email or through the contact form on the LocalOps website. Support is offered for the plans and hours described on our website or in the app.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and may cancel a paid subscription through the billing controls in the app.

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if your use creates a security, legal, or operational risk for us or other customers, if payment remains unpaid after notice, or if we are required to do so by law. Where practical, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue first.

On termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will continue to apply.

13. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that data will never be lost. You are responsible for maintaining your own records where the information is important to your business.

LocalOps is a business tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, medical, or other professional advice, and its reports, reminders, and suggestions are informational only.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PFS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PFS Technologies, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your Customer Data, your use of the service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or the rights of another person.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which PFS Technologies, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be the state or federal courts located in that state, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and provide notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact form on the LocalOps website or by using the support email address published there.
