Privacy Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information LocalOps collects, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. LocalOps is operated by PFS Technologies, LLC.
1. Scope and Our Role
This policy covers the LocalOps application and website. It does not cover services operated by other companies that you may connect to LocalOps, or information you provide directly to those companies; their own privacy policies apply.
LocalOps is a business operations platform. Most of the information in it is entered by businesses about their own operations and their own customers. For that information, the business is the party responsible for it and PFS processes it on the business’s behalf and on its instructions. For account, billing, and security information about the people who use LocalOps, PFS is responsible.
If you are a customer of a business that uses LocalOps and you want to access, correct, or delete information that business holds about you, please contact that business. We will assist them as their service provider, but we cannot act on your instructions directly for their records.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: your name, email address, the organization workspace you belong to, your role, and your login and verification records.
- Business records you enter: leads and contacts, customer records, tasks, appointments, notes and call logs, follow-up activity, message templates, client platform and domain details, market and location settings, and similar operational data.
- Billing information: your organization’s plan, subscription status, billing period, and the customer and subscription identifiers our payment processor uses for your organization. Full payment card details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
- Technical and usage information: log data, device and browser details, IP address, timestamps of activity, and records of how the application is used, which help us secure, support, and improve the service.
- Support communications: the contents of messages you send us when requesting help.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the service, including your organization workspace and its features.
- Authenticate users and enforce access controls between organizations, workspaces, and roles.
- Process subscriptions, calculate plan usage, enforce plan limits, and send billing notices.
- Send transactional and service messages, such as account, invitation, trial, and billing notifications.
- Monitor, secure, and troubleshoot the service, and detect abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about the service.
- Improve the product and understand which features are used.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on the following: performance of our contract with you (delivering the service, billing, and support); our legitimate interests (securing the service, preventing abuse and fraud, and improving the product); your consent where we ask for it; and compliance with legal obligations.
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing that already occurred.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the application is used. These technologies are necessary for the service to function.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking them may prevent parts of the service from working.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising. We share information only as needed to run the service and as described here:
- Service providers: hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing providers that process information on our instructions.
- Within your organization: users in your workspace can access the records their role permits, as configured by your organization’s owners and administrators.
- Legal requirements: when we are required to disclose information by law, subpoena, court order, or valid legal process, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: if PFS is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
7. Payment Information
Subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe. Card details are entered with the processor and are not stored on LocalOps systems. We receive and store only the identifiers and status information needed to associate a subscription with your organization and to grant the correct plan.
8. Data Retention
We retain business records for as long as your organization workspace is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so the workspace can be recovered if access is restored.
If a workspace is closed or an account is deleted, we retain information only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes such as recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, and then delete or de-identify it.
Records of security, audit, and billing events may be retained for longer periods where required for audit, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls that separate customer organizations, encryption of data in transit, verification of sensitive operations on the server side, and restricted administrative access.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.
10. International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and store and process information there. If you use the service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You can review and update much of your information directly in the app. Organization owners and administrators can manage workspace membership, roles, and access.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or obtain a copy of personal information, to opt out of certain sharing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Requests can be sent through the contact form on the LocalOps website or the support email published there. We will verify your request before acting on it.
If your request concerns information held in a business workspace you do not control, we may direct you to that business, since it is responsible for that information.
12. Children’s Privacy
LocalOps is a business tool intended for use by organizations, not by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Do Not Track and Analytics
We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We may use privacy-respecting analytics and session tools to understand how the application is used and to troubleshoot problems, and we limit that collection to what is needed for those purposes.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and provide notice in the app or by email.
15. Contact
Questions or requests about privacy can be sent through the contact form on the LocalOps website or by using the support email address published there.
